More than 200 representatives of the public sector discussed on gift policy

Special Investigation Service (STT), has organised the first practical event of the Integrity Academy initiative. On virtual discussion “Gift Policy: Practical Aspects of Application” representatives from various public institutions and private sector shared their experience in implementing gift policy. The event was attended by more than 200 representatives of public sector institutions and bodies.

The main purpose of the discussion was to present the benefits of a gift policy in management the risks of wrongful reward, favoritism, exclusivity and other influence. The issue of gift policy is also mentioned in the OECD Recommendations, which emphasize that ensuring integrity in organizations must include, in particular, management support, anti-corruption policies, as well as ethics and compliance measures must include gifts, hospitality, entertainment, expenses and more.

95 percent of the participants who evaluated the event would recommend this event to colleagues working in the field of corruption prevention (109 people participated in the survey).
